The General Hospital (GH) scoop for the week of August 31 hints Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will struggle with Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) imminent demise.
Also coming up, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will lie to the cops about Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) falling off the cliff and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) considers fessing up to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Plus, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) gets an unsettling phone call.
Chase regrets pretending to have an affair with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). He’s still in love with Willow and wants her back. So he plans to tell her the truth. However, he will see her with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and believe she’s happy, so he may change his tune.
General Hospital Scoop – Maxie Jones And Peter August Spend Afternoon Together
Over with Anna, who will feel a little discouraged after a conversation with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). Then she’ll get a disturbing call, which may have something to do with Peter August (Wes Ramsay). Viewers will see more of how that plays out next week.

Other spoilers tease Peter and Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) will talk about their unborn baby. The couple will spend a fun afternoon anticipating the arrival of their child, but deep down, Peter is afraid. He knows his happy life with Maxie will be ruined if his secrets are revealed.
Meanwhile, going against all her instincts, Carly will lie when she’s questioned by the police about what happened at the cliff. Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will tell her he doesn’t think the cops will believe her if she tells them the truth about Nelle. So she’ll try to bluff her way through the interview.
General Hospital Scoop – Mike Corbin Will Squeeze Sonny Corinthos’ Hand
Finally, Sonny will visit Mike in the hospital. He’s been watching his father slip away for weeks now and he’s struggling to make peace with it. He’ll tell an unconscious Mike that he knows they didn’t spend a lot of time together when he was younger and that’s on Mike.
“As I’ve gotten older, the time we didn’t spend together, that was on me,” Sonny will continue. “I hope you know that I’m happier than any words can say of the time that we spent together. I know it’s coming to an end.” And although Sonny thinks his father doesn’t hear him, he’ll be heartened when Mike squeezes his hand.
